Agriculture: Does it belong in urban areas?

Join us at Hub SoMa on June 8th for the first of a series of great debates where controversial topics in food and farming will be discussed. The first debate focuses on urban agriculture and whether growing volumes of food in urban areas makes sense, and if so, how. Practitioners and advocates will provide participants with an expansive view of urban agriculture by exploring different angles of the various issues associated with the topic.

Moderator: John Bela, The Rebar Group

Debaters:

Keith Agoada, Sky Vegetables

Mitra Ardron, Natural Innovation Foundation

Blair Randall, Garden for the Environment

Antonio Roman-Alcala, Alemany Farms
